Fall 2019 Blog 10: Take Time to Breath Just like all other MLO’s, there never seems to be a chance to just breath and slow down long enough to enjoy the air we are blessed with, let alone thank the Lord for that breath we just took. In actuality, we are not guaranteed the next one, so be thankful for the last breath and ask yourself whether you were productive with it!  Monday was a day to take those deep breaths, to be thankful for all that was accomplished on this MLO, and to see what God has been doing through the Ministry. As we participated in the meetings over the past week and listened to the thankfulness of so many, we could see through those relationships that God was doing a mighty work. Fall 2019 Blog 9:   FAMILY IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS Hello Folks, Fair warning: this is going to be a long one! It has been a whirlwind of a mission up to this point. Got in country on Wednesday and hit the ground running in meeting with people and investigating new opportunities God has created through old and new relationships! This is not our typical MLO (Mission Learning Opportunity) where we normally have 20+ team members heading off in 5 different directions every day, to share Christ’s love across this city and across this region. There is only Me, Travis Aaron and Hunter Bernal on this Fall MLO, and the three of us have spent the time meeting people, listening to their hearts and sharing His love in any way we can and the best way has been to sit and listen.  Or to walk and learn! Fall 2019 Blog 8:  The Little Things Add Up to Big Things What a blessing to watch God at work in the little things as they affect others and effect things around, to create these big Game Changing Moments! But to be able to see that who have to be patient enough for them to occur, flexible enough to not be on your agenda and attentive enough to witness them; and once you do and give God the glory, you begin to see His bigger picture come into view with each little piece He orchestrates. One such game changing moment happened on Friday morning, due to what the world would call a mistake because it happened as a result of human error! It all started with putting gas into a diesel engine while on our way to the mountains to enjoy a morning herding sheep by a shepherd and applying Psalm 23 while actively herding. Fall 2019 Blog 7: H i S Provision Opens Opportunities I had just woken up in the middle of the night (Friday early morning) by the old man disease that has plagued me for the past several years. For those of you who can relate with me and need no explanation, you yourself miss those nights of uninterrupted sleep. For those who don’t understand, contact me separately and I’ll explain! Lol. But when I came back to bed, I had just received a note on WhatsApp from a brother back home in Texas, letting me know he loved me and was praying for us. I shot him off a note back and by the time I’d finished, I realized I had just written the next Blog. Fall 2019 Blog 6: Back Home in Croatia I have been asked a lot lately about the mission and scope of HiS PRINT Ministries. If you know anything about HiS PRINT, you know that our mission is to love people where they are and love them till they ask why. We have been blessed to do that for the past 13 years here in Sisak, Croatia.  What started out as a mission team that came to share His love through one sport, in one city, in one country; has grown into a ministry that declares His love through multiple sports, in several cities across a region that expands into many countries. But it wasn’t until this evening, sitting in the newly developed HiS Cafe at HiS HOUSE, with a group of old friends as well as new acquaintances (most are first-time visitors to HiS HOUSE) that I put my finger on a big part of the story. Fall 2019 Blog 5:  Never Know who You May Meet I am going to make this blog short and sweet so that I can get working on the blogs I will be sending from my fall MLO to Sisak, Croatia.  I will be visiting Stefan and Arie and making connections for our spring MLO.  Just like this blog that is going to be short and sweet, meeting people that cross your paths in life can be so short that you fail to see the connection God intended for you to make and the blessing He wanted to give you through that “Chance” meeting. Well, on my recent trip to Indianapolis to visit my ailing 90 year old father who had to have emergency surgery to remove MRSA from his left elbow, I met several individuals that were placed there by God to encourage me and make connections for future possibilities.   In the matter of those 7 days, God opened some neat Godcidences around me that I will be forever grateful.
