  MiLO25 Blog 2 How Do You Measure Success? What a whirlwind of activity since i landed on Monday and several of the team members have started to gather. Saturday was moving day which involved transitioning from the mission team that was here, to our team taking over HiS House. The 22 member mission team that was here came to work with the Roma (Gypsy) villages around Sisak. They come in from another city, east of Croatia and several from the states to meet here and put on VBS and teen camps for the children in those villages. They have been utilizing HiS House for years for that purpose and it’s a blessing to witness how God uses HiS House to share His love through so many teams. Janko, the owner of HiS House opens his heart and home, so people can come and love on people here in Sisak. We have had the privilege and blessing to help in the construction of the house for this purpose.   MiLO25 Blog 1 God Paints The Picture Using Us As The Color And Reveals His Love Through Each Brushstroke He Uses To Paint The Picture Clearly Going through the process of discernment is like each stroke of a paint brush. Pretty soon those strokes of discernment start to reveal a picture with clarity and as you pay close attention God’s plan becomes visible through the process. You step back and the picture gives you peace even if a storm is painted! God has us in a really good place and I feel His peace so evident through these 19 years of coming to Croatia and building relationships. God has done this through different people bringing their own colors and He creates brush strokes over those years; and once you step back, everyone sees the picture of love so vividly painted by the master artist. With an army of prayer warriors, a mission team moves at His sacred pace under a dome of spiritual protection that is unmatched by any human strength or power! Thank you for being a part of that protection. We appreciate each and every one of you and those prayers you lift for us, when God elevates you to do so.  It is so hard to believe June has jumped up in front of us and our summer MiLO to Croatia and the Balkans, is right around the corner. Things have been so busy and crazy that it seems every time I sit down, a week goes by. I realize I am moving much slower and sitting down takes longer, but the time still flies on by!   HiS Place (Alvin) We are still serving locally and the development of HiS Place is coming along step by step.
