Summer 2026 - Blog 1 Journey with God I started this blog more than a dozen times, but none of those drafts fully expressed what I wanted to say. This afternoon I will be leaving for Croatia and will be overseas for a little over 5 weeks, so I am praying this will. My hope is that this message helps you see what God has done, what He is continuing to do, and how He is leading us as we prepare to take a team to Croatia for the 20th year of our Summer MiLO. Ministry, like life, never stands still. God has given us three areas of focus, and each one needs care. At times, one may require more attention than the others, but none can be neglected. The responsibilities within this ministry alone are enough to keep me fully occupied. If I took on more, I would be spread too thin and lose the focus needed to serve well. I am deeply grateful for the calling God placed on my heart 20 years ago through HiS Print Ministry. It is a privilege to love people where they are until they ask why. That kind of ministry takes prayer, dedication, desire, patience and more prayer as we build relationships with the people God places in our path. It all starts, walks with, and ends in Prayer!

HiS House - His Place Pray –> Plan –> Pray –> Prep –> Pray –> Prepare –> Pray –> Process –> Pray –> Prep –> Pray –> Proceed –> Pray    Always pray: IN, OVER & OUT  Pray IN: before every step, ask that we follow His will and His path, not our own.  Pray OVER: over every activity He leads you to do, asking for protection, fruitfulness, and that all be done for His glory and honor.  Pray OUT: thank God for all He has done and for every way He has provided.

When we ASK-we are raising... Awareness by  Sharing  Knowledge  Raising Awareness by Sharing Knowledge of what God has done, showing kindness to develop kindred relationships and friendships that last. Through relationship with others, we share what plans God has laid on our hearts, giving others the opportunity to see us on a deeper level and begin praying if God desires for them to walk alongside us.

Through our ASK, God may elevate a CALL on your heart.  Coming  Alongside  Lifting us  Lovingly

God may be calling you to join us on this journey. The support of those He calls is a true blessing, encouraging us to keep loving people where they are. Walking this path together is more than we could ask for, and without that support, this ministry would not be possible.  We welcome all support, trusting that God will lead the right people to come alongside us. It is a blessing to know He also calls people to support other Christ-led ministries, and we want to pray for you as you follow His leading in your own journey.  Our mission is simple: to love people where they are. For us, missions are a lifestyle and not a set time frame.  We are not here to demand, point fingers, judge, or push. We are here to love by building relationships with those who are open to them.  The same is true of our ASK: only become involved if God calls you. We never want anyone to respond out of pressure or obligation.  I hope you have the time to read about how God has been moving in this ministry—through preparations for the summer MiLO, the Glocal work of collecting and shipping equipment, and the growth of the Local ministry at HiS Place. As busy as it may seem, He continues to keep us grounded in His plan and faithfully walking in His will. So take a deep breath and follow along to witness the God journey He has us taking.

GLOBAL - Missions Overseas

I want to give you a brief look at our preparation and prayer leading up to an overseas MiLO. These plans are written in pencil, and God holds the eraser. As we pray, plan, and prepare, He may change everything in a moment. We must remain humble and flexible—like a lowercase "i" allowing the HS (Holy Spirit) to guide each step of the journey. Our desire is to follow His path, love the people He leads us to, and leave HiS Print behind. This year will be our 20th year of overseas global missions and we have been blessed beyond measure each of those years.  We are ready for what God has in store for us this year in the baseball and sports camps, children’s library programs, food and prayer deliveries to those in need. This year I will be joined by nine other team members from the states and several missionaries from other countries.  AMEN!  AMEN!!​​  AMEN!!!

LOCAL - Missions Locally

Foundation for the God Garage Warehouse

Since 2019, HiS Place has grown remarkably as we have depended on God for each step. It has developed beyond what we imagined, with God providing the finances needed to move forward. Our largest project has been the God Garage, which serves as the ministry’s equipment warehouse and local headquarters. So far, three of the six phases have been completed, including the most expensive one—the concrete foundation—finished at the end of 2025. We still need financial support for the next phase and those that follow. At this point, we are about two-thirds of the way toward completing the roof and walls.

Loss of Older Animals

New Additions to HiS Herd

We also continue caring for the property through the daily responsibilities of a working farm, including animals and crops. HiS Herd continues to change, and while we are excited to welcome new animals, we also feel the loss of those we have had for some time. Please pray for us in making HiS Place a sanctuary of peace for people to come and experience God in His creation and through His creatures. It’s been remarkable watching the transition happen and more to come!

GLOCAL - Missions through Donations

We believe missions is a lifestyle and this part of ministry keeps us involved daily. God continues to collect from those who have donated equipment for years, along with forming relationships with others who reach out to donate, and we have no idea how they even knew about us. Only God did! When you follow the trail, you cannot help but see His provision of gear we don’t have requests for. Then, a country asks for something God that God collected. There are way too many examples to go through all of them, but be assured we will in future communications. We are convinced God desires us to love people around the world through the Glocal ministry of provision of equipment. That’s the easy part. Detailed shipping information, weighing and counting each item while packing all of it; trying to find the best shipping option for that particular country, is the hard part. We want to share this equipment at the lowest possible rate so that those requesting can afford it. We tell them the shipping cost and for customs clearance. To start the shipping we ask for half of the cost up front. We explain they will be responsible for the balance once received. The blessing is that we are often able to cover that cost and tell them it is a gift from God; their debt is paid. This opens doors to share God’s provision. God has continued to be faithful by the providing those funds and we are praying that can continue. Praise God for that blessing and ask that you join us in praying for the finances needed to continue what God has started.

I pray this gives an overhead bird’s eye view of what is happening through the ministry. None of this would be possible without God’s provision of the army of supporters to make it happen. Thank you. Through God all things are possible, and we continue to count on Him to make the call on those He desires to journey with us.  HE DID IT!  HE DOES IT!  HE CONTINUES TO DO IT!  So Let’s Do IT!  David
