Blink and It’s Over:Take a Deep Breath to Remember.

So hard to believe how quickly days fly by and before you know it the team God brought together starts to head back home.

Guess what, more days have flown by since I wrote that first paragraph. I’m so tired and wiped out from the daily activities.  Because the days are filled, I’m having trouble getting everything written down. So, I’m going to give you a fly-over on this blog and the next so I can get caught up on the days I’m behind. I can say this:  we have been so blessed with the doors God has opened wider and the new doors He has created.

Baseball/Softball Camp

On Thursday of camp the Sisak Storks baseball/softball club held a barbecue for us to let us know how much they appreciated us and wow what a celebration it was. Many parents and so much great food guaranteeing none of us went home hungry. Leftovers were actually forced into our hands and we enjoyed a few more days after!

Rotary Club Dinner

Joe and Steve were guests at the year-end Rotary dinner that happened to be on the same night as our team barbecue. We have been involved in those a few years in the past but this was the first year that we were invited to speak and share what HiS Print has been blessed to do these 19 years. That was a real blessing to be asked. Joe shared our story and the opportunities we have had over the years and the message was very well received. God opening doors completely out of mid-air.

Friends Who Have Become Family

These pictures are of friends who have become like family and we have watched and witnessed these past 19 years to start families of their own. Crazy how long it’s been yet how young it makes me feel seeing these people we love so much, love on their families as they grow. Brings tears to my eyes remembering all the stories wrapped around each of these relationships.

Igor and his son David, former Stork
Barbara and her daughter Mila, former children’s librarian.
Agron the owner of Tropico Ice Cream Parlor a favorite nightly and daily stop.

Baseball Olympics

I’m just gonna let those pictures speak for themselves. On the last day of camp we always play baseball Olympics. The kids have an absolute blast competing and the coaches also enjoy trying to to take their team to victory.

It was an amazing and awesome week. What a blessing it was to witness the smiles and hear the laughter! Thank you for helping us come year after year. The support you have provided allows us to share His love with the people of Croatia.

As more and more pictures come in from the mission team who has returned home, I will share some of those with you.  Some are just too precious not to share!

HE DID IT!
