Blog - Winter 2025

I am so overdue in getting a blog out and keeping you updated on what is happening with HiS PRINT ministries. For that I apologize because I have failed in doing so. I will say, that my life has been somewhat busy with personal issues and health that have occurred over the past three months that have kept me on my back, and not my toes. After two hospital stays, one in November and one in February, doctor appointments and follow up procedures in between; and now recovering after emergency hip replacement surgery, I think the Lord has granted me ample time to give you an update.

Local Ministry

For the local ministry out at HiS Pace in Alvin, a bulldozer and roller has been delivered, Wednesday February 26. We are excited about the next step that is about to happen which is the dirt pad being built for our new warehouse, God‘s Garage. This will be a 10,000 square-foot facility where we can adequately and sufficiently collect donated equipment, put together shipments and then distribute around the world. It will also be a place where we can host events and invite people to come out and experience God‘s creation while helping with the equipment, packing and inventory, enjoying time feeding or taking care of our animals, spending some prayer and quiet time while walking around our prayer loop or spending time on Prayer Hill, and maybe even getting a hook wet by fishing in our stocked 1 acre Pond.

Gear from Mississippi State University

Great things are happening in our "glocal" ministry of local equipment collection, and equipment distribution around the world. We have had several new partners join us in donating baseball, softball, football, and other sports that it’s hard to list them all. From individuals to high schools and universities. It has been a blessing to witness. God‘s continued desire to collect equipment without us, even expressing a need. But each of those collections comes on the heels of requests from around the world that continue to come to us.
Recently, we have received beautiful pieces of equipment, over 300 pounds from Mississippi State University’s baseball and softball programs. We have been contacted by a smaller Baptist university in Arkansas and their desire to donate equipment from several sports and we have come across, through God‘s design and intervention with a gentleman who is a equipment refurbisher of American Football shoulder pads. Since we have met, he now knows where he can bring all of the shoulder pads he can no longer use and we can distribute around the world.

While I was out of commission and unable to put shipments together, one of our HiS PRINT Team members, Brandon Hoybach and several volunteers put together shipments for Turkey and Kazakhstan. We also have requests from the European baseball and softball Federation as well as several countries in Africa requesting equipment, that we will work on in the near future to provide for them what we can. God is so good.

Global Updates

Globally we are excited about new relationships built and the possibilities of serving together in the future on some opportunities in Croatia. Mike Norman, our football director will be heading to Croatia at the end of March to work with the Croatian National Flag Football Team. We will be hosting a camp in Sisak at HiS House. Mike will be heading up all those activities, with the help of our in country HiS Print Administrators, Lordan and Martina, who have been and will handle the logistics for accommodations and meals. This is our third year hosting this camp for the National team and it has been an absolute blessing. The only disappointment is I’m not able to travel and attend at this time, but I am working hard on returning for our summer MiLO in June and July.
Again I am sorry for the delay in getting you an update and appreciate your support and prayers. Please continue to lift up our Local, Glocal and Global areas of ministry. God continues to be faithful and witnessing the growth and continued development of relationships through the ministry makes me overflowing with joy and peace as we trust in the God of Hope.

God bless each of you and thank you for your prayers!

HE DID IT!
David
