Summer 2023 MiLO - Blog 1

Summer MiLO Blog 1

Well, what I thought was going to be a restful two or three days once I got here in Croatia at HiS House didn’t turn out quite that way. The first day I was so tired from my 36 hour trip across the world to get here, that I slept almost entirely the day away. The next day was slightly better, and was able to read and not fall asleep, but writing was nowhere in my ability!

As soon as I arrived at HiS House, I immediately felt at home.  It is always nice to reunite with the part of my heart I leave behind here in Croatia. Spending time with Janko is always a highlight and the opportunity to pray with him and then join him and the others at Bible Study at the Emmaus Center downtown is really special.

Bats for Croatian Little League

I was able to deliver bats that were bought and collected for the Croatian Little League and national teams to the presidents and coaches of those teams. They were very appreciative and will be able to compete at the European championship level with those gifts!

Visit with Baseball Coaches

I was blessed to spend a morning with the President of the European Baseball Federation, the right one in the picture, and the one on the left is the Croatian National Baseball Federation Coach. They came to the warehouse to look at what supplies we have to donate and ship to Kenya. We are happy to help in sending all that we have here in our Croatia warehouse, knowing we have much more coming from our inventory back in Texas.

Local Humanitarian Organization

On Wednesday j was able to be a small help at the warehouse for a humanitarian organization that helps the needy and underprivileged around Sisak. The president said they help over 200 families in the villages surrounding Sisak. It is a blessing to provide the storage space needed for this organization and the help they provide. Since we haven’t shipped in awhile there was room to help them out. I was able to at least help in throwing cases of toilet paper that weren’t too heavy for me to carry and toss. Lol. It was good to be at least a little bit of help.

Alexey from Ukraine

Back home before leaving for Croatia, I had the opportunity to sit down with Alexey from Ukraine and hear the conditions of his country and the dire need of his family. God has really protected them and opened doors for them to share their faith and trust in God. Please keep them in your prayers.

HiS Place in Texas

Please also keep HiS Place in your prayers and the steps we have going on to complete the dirt moving on the property and preparations for the next steps to build a foundation for a warehouse (God’s Garage) and prayerfully one day soon the construction of a building. It has been a real blessing watching the pond being dug, the sports field being formed and the prayer walk being elevated around the perimeter of the property. It has been an adventure to say the least but God has been in control and we have trusted Him with each step on this journey. Come out and stand on Prayer Hill or take a walk on the Prayer Loop and you will see God’s hand on it all.

We appreciate each and everyone of you and the support you have given HiS Print. God is really using us globally in the Balkans and locally at HiS Place in Alvin. Would appreciate your continued support and prayers. God bless and remember Jesus loves you and so do I!

HE DID IT!
