I don’t really know where to start, so much has happened and is happening, that I should have gotten something out a lot sooner. How about start with an apology for my lack of promptness in putting this together before now. But I do have a pretty good excuse. I had a total hip replacement back on April 5th and have been recovering and in rehab since. I can say that I am getting stronger every day and more confident in my walking, but I still catch myself in coach mode, and telling myself to get up and stop faking it! Old habits are hard to break. Realization, one day at a time taking one step at a time!

Ukranian Refugee Aid

We recently met a young Ukrainian immigrant woman named Nastya. Nastya felt the calling from the Lord to go to Poland to find her sister who had fled the war and bring her here to Texas. HiS PRINT helped Nastya travel to Poland, find her sister and nephew and then travel through Europe to HiS HOUSE in Croatia, before finally getting them here to Texas, safe and sound. God built a Love Highway through our coach connections in Poland (Coach Robert) and Austria (Coach Michael) who picked the family up at every turn, housed them and then got them safely onto transportation headed to the next location. Janko hosted them at HiS House in Sisak, Croatia and spoiled them with love and care. After nearly a month of being gone, Nastya returned to Texas with her sister and nephew.

I told Nastya we need to get together and write a book, sharing the story and explaining how God was present at every turn. Let’s see if we can’t get something together! Enjoy the video of her nephew Artem. You will fall in love with his wonderful personality!

Visit to HiS Place, Texas (April 2022)

International Visitors

These past two months we have had a couple of international visitors that we’ve hosted while they were here in Houston.

Todd Pruitt is a ministry partner with SRS (a European Sports Ministry.) We have been blessed to develop a deep friendship over the past 6 years and he was here to visit and see all that HiS Print has going on. It was a blessed short time together! When I took him out to HiS Place, Todd couldn’t believe all that God was doing. Seeing the vision got him excited, and we appreciated his prayers for our moving forward with the development.

The next week Dino Buraic came to visit us from Split, Croatia. Dino is a young man who we have watched grow into a mighty warrior for Christ through sports ministry in baseball/softball and football. During his 10 day visit we were able to line up meetings with football coaches and watched several baseball games. It was like opening Christmas gifts on Christmas morning at every meeting and event. It sure was a blessing to have Dino here on his first visit to the states.

Equipment Ministry

HiS PRINT has had the opportunity to impact the world these past 15 years through equipment distribution and that didn’t stop during COVID. We actually sent 16 shipments over the past 14 months and have witnessed God use those shipments to develop relationships and avenues to share His love. Over these past 6 weeks of recovery from the hip replacement, I have had a lot of time to reflect and look back at all that God has done and to see the impact He will be making moving forward, once we get the new equipment storehouse built. Just take a moment and look at these statistics and marvel at God’s hand in sharing His love around the world.

Equipment shipments continue to be received across the globe, and the thank-you's keep rolling in. God has continued to collect more equipment and we are constantly receiving requests from around the world. We have to put requests on hold for now until our new warehouse can be built and we can begin shipping again. The doors that opened as a result of sharing equipment have brought about 6 new invitations to visit and share God’s love through camps - from Iceland to Papua New Guinea! HiS Place (Texas)

Lastly, we could sure use your prayers for HiS Place and the development process of making a place here locally where we can love on kids and families. We have met many a roadblock in the permitting process and although we have been frustrated at times, we know God is in control and we must travel His path at His pace.

Please pray for our environmental permit to be approved and processed so that we can move forward in developing HiS Place into a place where people can pause and experience God through the animals and nature, as well as developing relationships. We have been busy bringing different people and organizations out to enjoy the animals and that has been a blessing, but we can’t wait to develop the rest of what God has planned. You can see from the drawing below, we are taking on a huge project, but have felt God’s calling at every step and we see His hand in the whole process, even in slowing us down with the permitting proposals. We have a lot of awareness-raising to do soon, by sharing the Vision of all that God is doing and having Him bring people into Action to walk beside us as we press on and into this development project. Look at the small porch we were able to construct. Although it is not quite completed, we are able to use Pa’Use Porch as a safe dry, shaded place to talk, share, have fellowship and pray.
