Spring MLO Update 2 (March 11)

Sunday we had a lovely day of worship. After having a wonderful time of devotions around the table at HiS House, we joined our brothers and sisters at church in Moscenisa. 

Vukasin, our dear and wonderful friend from Serbia, made it to HiS House in time to go with us to church and he chose to attend with us. He said this would be a first and it was a blessing to have him with us! The message was from 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, on the second coming of Christ and the importance of sharing that truth. We are to wait patiently, be alert and share. Not to sit with our arms crossed and doing nothing. 

Croatia Little League Coming to Texas

We met today with Damir, Croatian Little League Board Member and several parents about their upcoming team visit to Texas. Next month, from April 17th-26th, fifty Croatian Little League players and their parents will come to Houston for the experience of a lifetime. Let us know if you are in the Houston area and would like to be involved in helping us to house, transport and show these families why Texas hospitality is known around the world! 

Business Seminar 

God has put together a stellar team for our Business Seminar. From a lawyer to a Ford Motor Company executive, to a retired IBM manager to an engineer of robotics and me, a coach. Oh well, you gotta have a bench warmer on every team! 

Food Pantry

Lastly, the Burkhardt family carried on our ministry of reaching out to those in need through the food pantry. They did the shopping and today were able to visit 5 families around Sisak, deliver the food, and pray with the families! They really enjoyed their time and were blessed by each family they visited.
