LOVING THEM WHERE THEY ARE
This was an article posted today in City News Sisak that explains our HiS PRINT mission statement to the T! “We use our step to leave HiS PRINT by loving people where they are and loving them till they ask why!” Whether it’s 6 feet or 6,000 miles away, God calls us all to love others as He has loved us! Sisak- for the sixth year in a row members of HiS Print Ministries, a christian charity organization out of Texas, America, have been visiting and helping out in various ways our citizen initiative "Moj grad Sisak" and their users. This year was no exception, they went in on broad Sisak area and helped people with not just donations but also with support groups and joined prayers.
President of the Sisak citizens initiative "Moj grad Sisak" Mr Tihomir Lavor has told that "Our donaterors from HiS Print have been so kind that they made humanitarian packages containing food and hygiene products for our users.
Together we went through broad Sisak area and visited those in need with our friends from HiS Print and we made those donations. We have visited places Majur Gornji i Donji Hrastovec, Živaj, Strelečki, Petrinja, Stara Praćna, Svinjička i sl., and we are not done yet. We got a great feedback from users, they showed joy willingness to talk to our American friends with big help from our volunteer translators Martina Vipotnik and Lordan Badanjko so language was no barrier.
Those users who already received help have been rejoicing to their encounter with volunteers they have seen before and they would ask volunteers from HiS Print about their lives and they would greet those who were here in the past. They also look forward to the next year's visit.
It is really nice to get recognized by a international organization that values what you do to help people in need, to have understanding of our work and that they support it.
Humanitarian and volunteering work are a normal thing in the world and we hope that it is going to be like that in Croatia some day. You are all welcome to help and perhaps join us because Together we can achieve more."
All members of people's initiative "Moj grad Sisak" would like to give a big "Thank you!" to all HiS Print donators and members and volunteers. Because of you and what you do more than 30 housings have received donations and we all look forward to new joined activities.
