Hello Folks,
Here I go again! I don't bother you for a couple of months and then all of the sudden here comes a flurry of news, because there has been a flurry of activity from equipment pick-up all over the city to great things that are happening across the pond in The Balkans and across Eastern Europe. Thank you first of all for all your support in helping us make this possible. Without you, we would not be where we are and the having the impact we are having. God has built an army around us that is providing provision and protection!
Well, as mentioned earlier we sent equipment this past month to Iceland, marking 28 countries where we have sent equipment and 82 cities/teams we have had the opportunity to bless through providing gear they needed to play. Coach Reeve, one of our new football coaches, has helped us get more equipment from south Texas. By the way have you ever seen a box of donated Nike football cleats? Well that is exactly what you see pictured below. As a part of HBU's sponsor change from Nike to UnderArmour, HBU graciously donated all their Nike shoes, pants, jerseys and pads to make room for their new gear. What a blessing this was to receive! HBU cannot have Nike on campus any longer and we can use all the equipment we can get our hands on. Doesn't get much better than that!

This past Saturday (April 28) we were blessed to host the 4th Annual HiS PRINT 7-on-7 Football Tournament at Pasadena Memorial High School. The referees have chosen HiS PRINT as one of three annual events where they donate their time for new referee training. What a blessing! We are also extremely grateful to Pasadena Memorial High School for donating the use of the 6 fields for the event. With our tournament expenses covered, 100% of the entry fees from the twelve participating teams went directly toward the HiS PRINT summer MLO!

Along with the opportunity of speaking at several men's Bible Studies and meetings, I had the opportunity to do what I love and that was to help coach a 6 year old team at a team practice in Katy. It has been a while since my Texas Baseball Academy days and coaching on American soil or doing lessons, so this was more of treat for me than for them! I was asked by a dear friend and colleague at HBU to come out to speak and work with the team he is coaching. I was blessed beyond measure and to top it all off, they ended up bringing donated items they had collected for us to take with us on our next shipment.

Let me close with this. This past month I had the tremendous blessing of officiating the wedding of Stefan and Arie Birac. Stefan is from Croatia and moved to Texas over 6 years ago to attend school and get a college degree. In the process he met a young women from Mexico and they fell in love. The rest is history... or better said, future! Stefan is like a son to me, and also is my Timothy to a Paul. I have been blessed to share life with him and this past April, I had the honor and pleasure of officiating their wedding. When I made the statement earlier, "It don't get much better than that", it just did!

Have a wonderful God filled day. May the Lord's blessing of His presence keep you comforted in all circumstances!
HE DID IT!
David
