Who I Was! Now Whose I Am!
Until we get to the place where we realize where we would be and who we were and now whose we are, we can't be truly thankful and devoted to Him! It's the deny of self that has to occur before you can ever pick up the cross and follow Jesus! We still have that pride, that EGO (Easing God Out), that says we've got this! Remember that HE DID IT and that's the only way We Can Do IT!
I also had the chance to meet with Marko, the Vice Mayor of Sisak, to discuss this year's carnival as well as just catch up on life! Marko has become a dear friend over these many years of coming to Sisak and is dear to my heart! He has done very well in life and has done well for this city! This past year the city has made many changes and improvements that I had not seen in the previous 11 years! The carnival is approved and the city is excited to have us host it again this year! This will be our 7th year and 4th year having it downtown on the River Kupa!
I did find out that our usual Texas Carnival band "October Light" is not able to come this year. Although I am disappointed, I also am excited! As soon as I found out about "October Light," I immediately asked the Praise and Worship Band from a local church. I had asked them years ago, but they declined. This year they have agreed to join us for The Texas Carnival and share the gospel through song! Praise God on many levels for this! Having the churches walk alongside us has not been easy and this will help in showing unity and team work! Another church provided a lot of printed material for us to share as well!
In the evening, the Karate instructor who requested equipment last year came and visited me. He brought a father of one of his students along to say thank you for the gear that is coming on the shipment! What a blessing it was to hear the excitement in his voice to be able to have equipment they would otherwise never be able to have! They live in a small village near HiS HOUSE. We do most of our grocery shopping in their village but have never been able to do ministry there! God changed all that through this request! I actually invited them to the carnival and they were pleased to receive and accept!
God continues to open doors to minister and reach out to more and more, and we are just blessed to be a part of it! Have a wonderful God filled day!
Monday was a blessed day of completing work that needed to get done around HiS HOUSE in preparation of the team's arrival in a few days. They will trickle in starting Wednesday , with the completion of the whole team of 38 getting here on the 30th. The air shipment we had flown over has arrived in Zagreb and prayerfully will clear customs today so that we can go pick it up today! We had two crates flown here so that we would have them in time for the mission this go around!

HE DID IT! For us! Let's remember where we would be without Him!
Let's Do IT! For Him to others so they will see, feel and experience Him as well!
