Update on Carnival and Sunday

Update on Carnival and Sunday
The carnival was a huge success again and the crowd grew from the years before! We really have no official way of counting the number of participants because we are in an open air park, but all told we had close to 1,000 people coming and going. Between the music played, gospel message handed out and the message I delivered, the seeds of God's love through Jesus Christ was heard loud and clear! The HiS PRINT team did a terrific job of loving on those children and their families! We had more family participation this year which was a tremendous blessing.

Sunday morning we went to church and I asked Brandon to share with the people our HiS PRINT update and some scripture from his heart! He did a great job! We were able to bring the two basketball hoops and backboards we bought for the church youth camp and that blessed the church elder board who could not thank us enough! We know those will be used by the church at the camp to allow kids to have fun and play, while at the Christian youth camp every summer!

After church we came home and did more organizing of the shipment and getting all that we could in the garage and the rest in boxes on pallets and tarps over them to keep them dry!  There will be more teams that will come to pick up the remaining equipment throughout the summer and we are excited to help as many teams as possible. We have much more baseball and football gear to help as many as we can across Eastern Europe and the word is getting out that we are here to help! May the Lord use this equipment provision to glorify Himself and expand His kingdom.

In the afternoon we went to The NEST and divided the campers up into 6 teams and played  a mini tournament of a baseball game called B-Ball. It is played with 3 bases and a team of 5 to 6 players. Every player bats in the two innings that you play! The kids love it and it allows everyone to participate!  The really exciting thing was that we had so many parents come and watch their children play and cheer them on! This was really neat to witness all the activity on The NEST and to see everyone with smiles across their faces. We had trophies for 1st, baseballs for 2nd and drinks for 3rd! The environment of teaching and fun was so refreshing to see and to witness many of the older castors baseball team come and participate was such a blessing and we look forward to witnessing this new generation of Storks grow and prayerfully as they hear the gospel will come to know the Lord!

The team that was heading to Slovenia to conduct the football camp left around 9 in the evening with a loaded down van to take the 2 1/2 hour trek to Ljubljana.  God bless and please keep us in Slovenia in your prayers as well as the 10 that are back in Sisak to do the library program and to go to the orphanage!

Several team members headed home yesterday and made it safely. We also had two more join us! The team constantly changes but the message remains the same:  love people people where they are and 'till they ask why, by using our steps to leave HiS PRINT!

Thank you for your support!
