Update - Day 6?
Update
I think we are on day 6, but with all the activity and our coming and going, the late nights and early mornings, I'm not 100% sure of much more than when it's daylight and dark and the reason we are here: to share God's message of love through Jesus Christ! Rachel left and made it home safely. Her dance camp was a huge success and she really made a deeper connection with her participants this year. They are prepared to give their dance routine at the carnival. Angelique (who helped Rachel this year) will lead them at the carnival and we are excited to watch it!
In Split, the football coaches were asked to provide an additional day. They were happy to provide it and further the relationships with the Sea Wolves and help them not only become a better football team, but also plant, water, cultivate and possibly harvest more seeds.
Here in Sisak, the baseball camp continues to grow and although it is hot the players continue to work hard and listen. We are excited to have 9 of the 18 players who are trying out for the Croatian Little League tournament team that will be representing Croatia in Poland on July 14. I had Sebastian "CBass" share his testimony to the campers yesterday evening and he did an excellent job.
The other part of our mission team went several places yesterday to love on people right where they are! They started the day at the nursing home and sharing with the residents there through crafts and singing. The people there always look forward to our group coming and spending time with them.
Then the afternoon was spent at the handicap facility doing crafts and sharing time together! God has just created opportunity after opportunity in place after place and it is exciting to be a part of each open door!
After that, our team came home for a short rest and then headed off to the children's library in the suburbs for a movie night. They had over 25 children and teenagers come to join in and again a wonderful opportunity to spend time building relationships.
(Note from Shannon: Wednesday we had a "Read With Me" in the park.) Here are some pics from that event!
At finally I can't thank each of you enough for all your support and prayers. We couldn't be out here on the front lines without many back home supporting us prayerfully and financially. We couldn't possibly do what we do without those back home we know are praying for us!
Blessings and remember Jesus loves you and so do I!
HE DID IT!

Oh by the way, still no shipment but we are still hopeful we will get it before we leave for Slovenia Sunday and the library program that begins Monday. Keep praying. We have heard it has made it to the customs office here in Sisak! Praise God for small victories!
