Summer MLO Comes to a Close

Folks,

As I sit back and take the time to reflect on this past summer's MLO it is an absolute blessing to see the team that God has brought together in the past, this summer and His plans for the future! So many people's steps have been used to touch the lives and hearts of many across Croatia and Eastern Europe to leave HiS PRINT!

Thank you to each of you and your dedication and service to Christ and HiS PRINT. I want to send out a special and heartfelt thank you to Shannon (Sis) for her tirelessness to pour her heart into making so many things be put together prior to going and the leadership she has given for the past 10 years! Thank you Sis and my prayer is still that God will call you back to Croatia and reunite with the relationships He has used you to create!

Just a quick overview of what is going on currently and what doors have been opened for the future! God is creating so many open doors of ministry and it is a blessing to witness. I spent the last 4 days in Croatia stopping by and saying hello to the libraries, churches and city officials to make sure all was good for us to return in 2017. Each of them was excited for the future and looking forward to our return.

Croatia Little League participated in their first ever international All Star game in Kutno, Poland. They won their first game over Austria and actually played the opening game of the tournament on the stadium field in front of a huge crowd. The next two games were not with the same result, but the players and coaches had a remarkable time and are already planning for their 2017 Little League season and their return to Poland. They have asked us to run a specialty camp just for their all stars and we are excited to participate in planning that there in Sisak and make it an annual event at HiS HOUSE!

This summer was our first opportunity to go to Slovenia and conduct a football camp for the Ljubljana Mustangs, a program for youth 18 and under! What a great and positive experience for our coaches as well as the Mustangs who participated. Viki, the founder and President of the team, has come to HiS HOUSE on several occasions and while she was there this past Tuesday, she met with Janko and organized their pre-season training camp to occur this August 22-28, at HiS HOUSE! Janko is so excited and has already organized trips to the city pool and food for the team! I am organizing Skype talks and devotions with coaches and HBU players to reach out and share with the young players and coaches! God is using HiS HOUSE for His glory and it is a blessing to witness this occurring! Keep this in your prayers!

The next Carnival is set for July 1st, 2017 and on my follow up visit with Marko at his office on Wednesday, he expressed his appreciation for the HiS PRINT team to coming every year and provide fun and hope for his city through this special Texas Day. At the end of our conversation, with another person with us in his office, Marko asked me to pray before I left! In the past I had always asked him, but he asked first and with tears in my eyes I told him I would be honored and that I would pray for their up coming election. He immediately told me no, do not pray for that, pray for the people of Sisak and that he would lead them with integrity. God is really working on his heart and please pray alongside me for His work to continue in Marko's heart and that it would be open to receive Jesus's love and grace completely.

Our new Coach of the Storks, Antonio, spent the last three days with me at The NEST and HiS HOUSE working on the equipment and getting organized for other teams to come and pick up needed gear for their programs. He and I had a special time and he thanked me for the HiS PRINT team pointing him back to God and that he would be reading and searching for that personal relationship we all talk about often! He has an incredible story of defeat and despair throughout his youth and life, but God has protected his heart through all those hardships and tragedies and not turn away completely away or shut out God. Antonio admitted being angry at God for all that had happened, but is now willing to look into His love and grace with an open mind and heart! He is so dedicated and great with the players and we are excited to have him as an official HiS PRINT Coach of the Young Sisak Storks.

Lastly, God is definitely not finished with supplying more and more teams across The Balkans and Eastern Europe with baseball, hockey and football gear! While we were away, there were a couple of deliveries, one of hockey gear and the other of more baseball equipment. Then on Friday I answered a call on my cell phone from the head football coach at Clear Brook HS, saying he had some shoulder pads and cleats he wanted to donate and needed them picked up so his equipment room could be cleaned out to receive their new gear.  Well, two trips back and forth from the HS to the HiS PRINT warehouse, I took 98 pair of shoulder pads and 10 pair of cleats and a promise from the coach that he would be contacting me this week, for more stuff to be picked up, once they got out to the storeroom at the stadium. God is so PERFECT and GOOD!

Thanks again for everyone's effort and love they have shared over the years through HiS PRINT!
Remember Jesus loves you and so do I!

HE DID IT!
Let's DO IT!
