July 2 Update
This message is from Debbie Moss. David has been staying in a house without internet, so he has not been able to send updates for the last few days. We will get a full update soon, but here is a brief summary from Debbie's conversation with David. - Debbie Page
There are several of the team members are now staying at Neven's mothers house out in the country. David said there is no internet and no air conditioning - only barking dogs, roosters crowing, chickens clucking and weed eaters at 4am in the morning!
The library presentation went well today. Sharon Beal did a presentation on Texas and it was incredible!
Rusty's seminar in Sisak got cancelled for some reason, but he has a meeting scheduled with a group in Zagreb, so pray all goes well with that one.
They have been having problems with building the stage due to the materials available, or not available, but he thinks they will get it built somehow. Rock, Colin, Wyatt and some others have been working hard on it.
The duggout work is done! Grant and Heidi will have lots of painting to do when they arrive.
They had dinner this evening at Martins. Said it was incredible. They had lamb, chicken and pork.
Church was good yesterday. They went to Mocineca in the morning and Betchal in the evening. David got to speak at Betchal and told them all about what they are doing this year and invited them to come out and help or participate.
Chris Hill leaves tomorrow. Pray for safe travel on his return, as well as for Grant Moss, Heidi Dawson and Mike Norman who will be traveling to Croatia July 5th.
Several went to the Stork Village Sunday evening, bu David stayed back and worked. He has been running around all over the place trying to get needed supplies and things organized.
Pray for Erin, Shannon's daughter, she arrived with a fever. They took her to the doctor and she has strep throat. Pray she starts feeling better soon and also that no one else gets it.
Tonight David had a great talk with Igor and Mahac, two of the Storks. He said it was a great talk and really enjoyed being able to spend the time with them.
That's about it for now, he will be sending you more tomorrow when he gets back to Jankos house.
