Dear Prayer Team:
Thank you for being faithful in praying for our Croatia missionaries!!
I am forwarding the latest update from David via Debbie.
May the Lord bless you all.
Earl

Earl,

Talked with David last night and these are the things he wanted to tell everyone.

He, Chris and Joe had dinner with Coach Daniel and his wife. Neven and Martin were there also. It was an awesome time for all and his wife out did herself on the meal. Coach wants to thank everyone for their prayers and financial support for the Storks. It touches his heart in such a way that he doesn't know how to express it. He has a vision for the new ball field and the Storks team. He wants a Christian coach to teach ball and share Christ year round with the Storks. With his job, he cannot do that, so he is looking for a David a house! lol! Please pray that they find the right person who can coach the storks and make an impact in their lives as well.

Both practices were awesome yesterday and they look forward to practice again today. Yesterday between practices they took the group in Sisak up to ZD to help out with the cabin the group is building there at the youth camp. The cement and floor have been poured and the walls were starting to go up. Everyone helped out as needed and others ran back and forth into town collecting supplies as needed. They had a great time together. Pray they continue to stay on schedule and complete the cabin before that team heads back to the US.

Also pray for the pitching machine makes it. It is to arrive this evening which is a day later than scheduled. They will not be able to get it until Thursday because the customs office will be closed by the time it arrives. Continue to pray that everything clears and they get the machine. The Storks are very excited and axious and waiting to get this new machine to practice with it.

Zack and Timi (Janko's son) will work on building a well today on his land behind his house. He has a small farm (garden, chickens, ducks, etc.) and the well will provide water for his plants and animals. Pray they can get the well completed and working.

Joe and Grant arrived and they are fitting right in with the group! (For those who don't know, they are a father and son David works with from SugarLand. Grant plays ball and Joe has coached for many years). Having so many baseball people this year has been a tremendous help to David. He is thankful that they have all been willing to come and serve on this trip. Chris and Dalton are doing a lot of coaching and having this many baseball people gives the team more indivdual help.

Keep the BEAT in your prayers. They plan to have the BEAT tonight. Then afterwards they will go to the Kup where all the teens hang out and sing, play music and share with them. Last night Stefen, Dalton, and Zack were walking home and they ran into a group of teens and Dalton was so excited and really felt God leading them that he just had to stop and share with them. David said he was on fire and couldn't wait to go hand out at the BEAT and then afterwards at the Kupa to share with more teens. He said he is ready to come back next year! Pray that the teens they come in contact with have open hearts and ears and are receptive to what they hear.

Thank you for all your prayers and support!
