Dear Prayer Team -
Once again, lots of great news and all praise to our Father in Heaven.
I have nothing to add to the update below except "Thank you Lord!!"
Keep praying.
Earl

Earl,

I spoke to David this afternoon. Things are going really good. He said today was fabulous! They had the camp and Texas carnival. It was a great day at camp. Chris took the older campers and they played a ball game with the National team that is there and Joe took the little guys and taught them the game of baseball. David also talked to them about the gospel and he said it was really neat to share with them. Pray they were like litte sponges soaking it all in! He said there were a lot of people who came to the Texas Carnival. Everyone helped out and the weather was perfect. About 72 in the morning with a high of about 78. He said his line was so busy he didn't have much time to walk around and check on everyone else. Sarah helped him and he said she was awesome! They were all non-stop busy at the carnival and gave away all their prizes. Everyone had lots of fun playing all the games and winning prizes. They were all running around with water guns and patriotic blow up hammers, etc. just having a ball.

David went back to hospital today to have them check his finger. He said they took a couple of the stitches out and said he needed to come back on Friday to get the rest out. He told them he was leaving Friday and needed them out sooner. Pray they can take them out on Thursday. Otherwise he said it is doing fine.

While camp was going on Janko had a chance to take some of the ladies to the Stork village where the storks migrate and show them around. He said he really enjoyed taking them and spending time with them. Heidi and Jennifer came to the camp and had fun with the kids. Jennifer cheered on all the kids and gave them all big hugs just like a mom...imagine that!! The kids loved it and I think she has a couple she wants to bring home!

Sat. evening after the carnival, David had a talk with the Storks team. It was a good talk. He talked to them about the importance of taking ownership of their field and the responsibilities that came along with it and that all this was a gift because of God's love, so use it for his Glory! There were some hugs and tears and all the Storks say Hello and Thank you to everyone at FBC and all those that helped make this field and mower possible.

Sat.evening after everything was over, they all had dinner at Little John's house. They had goulash. David said it was awesome and they ate way to much! They met a lady there who is Renata's, Little John's mother, best friend. She owns the biggest book store in town. She said she was going to start teaching English classes using picture books. She wants us to come next year and bring people who can just have conversations in English with people in the class. This is Huge....what an awesome opportunity to share!
Sunday everyone will go to church. Some will go to Mochinta....Wyatt will play drums there with their band, and David and Joe will go to Bethel, the little Baptist church right there in down town Sisak.

Sunday after church is the dedication game. David will catch the first pitch thrown by JD. Everyone is looking forward to the dedication. After the game, they will have a big BBQ for everyone and our team. They usually have their special roasted pig when our team comes, so that is probably what is on the menu!

Pray for good turnout at the dedication game and that they continue to find new ways to minister. God has been so awesome in opening door after door, pray that continues and for open hearts and minds of those in our path.

In His Glory,
David thru Debbie
