Thank you, Debbie.
Dear Prayer Team:
I am forwarding our latest update from David and Debbie.
Praise God for what He is doing through our Croatia Missionaries.
Continue to pray for the physical work that is taking place and the spiritual work that God is doing in the hearts of the people in Croatia, as well as in the lives of our team.
Thank you for praying!!
Your brother in Christ,
Earl

Earl,

Just got off skype with David. Here is everything he wanted to tell people about.

First of all, thanks for all your prayers!

Today they went to church in Moscenicia. It was an amazing service. They all send their greetings and love to all of you. There was another mission team there from Canada and they did an improv drama. He said it was a very neat skit. Then the pastor spoke from Acts and Galatians on Paul's missioinary journey and compared it to our team and what they were doing.  He challenged the congregation to go out and spread the word. He was so thankful for our team and thanked them all for coming back year after year. He told how we have been coming to Sisak for over 5 years and how we take time from our families, our jobs, our lives to come share our love for Christ. After church Janko had a BBQ for everyone. It was great.

Later Sunday afternoon, the Cadets played a game and Wyatt got to play with them and they won. After that the Storks had a game. Chris and Dalton did the coaching which was a blessing to David. He said it was nice to sit back and watch. They played a good game, but lost.

Praise...the weather is getting better. The rain has pushed out.

Sunday evening David got the group up to ZD that will build the cabins. They have all the supplies now and will start building them Monday.

David said they will have practice on Monday with the Storks and work on preparations for the camp on Thurs. He said the team the Storks played on Sunday have committed to coming back for the camp on Thursday.

Dalton was invited out by members of the Storks to go play video games last night. David said it was neat to see how well Dalton has been received by the boys.

Joe and Grant Page fly in Monday afternoon. The pitching machine should also arrive Monday and everyone is really excited about that. Please pray for safe travel for Joe and Grant and that the pitching machine makes it there OK and that it clears customs OK.

On Tuesday they plan to take some of the Cadets and Storks up to ZD to help build the cabins. He is excited about this because it gives them the opportunity to share Christ with them. He said they are going to love them until they ask why....and more and more are asking "why do you do this?"

Janko, the one who so graciously opens his home for the team to stay in, is already excited about possibly having a team come next year to build out more rooms above his office on the back of his house. He is so excited to have us come and share the Gospel with his people, he wants to have room for more to come. He said he will start working to try and get the permits to do that. Pray that he can get the permits and the finances to do this one day.

The new members on the team this year who went to Zagreb for a quick visit and to see the culture had a great time. Marde was with them and got sick. She ended up going to Christina's house in Zagreb and staying there for the day. She is feeling much better now, but please keep her in your prayers. Everyone else is enjoying meeting the people and seeing the country. I think Bobby is ready to move here! Pray that everyone on the team stays healthy and safe and that their footsteps are leaving footprints for Christ!

Also, please pray for Svjetlana, Stefan's mother. She is having a lot of difficulties with her job. She is telling the truth about things and the Gov't. wants her to lie. She says she has Christ in her heart and he wants her to tell the truth and that is what she is doing. She is worried that she may not have a job in about 3 months when the elections take place and she is worried about how she can provide for her family if she does not have a job. Please pray that new officials are elected who are not crooked and that she will have her job and can continue to do what is right. Pray that she continues to keep her joy and love for Christ and has the boldness to do what is right, knowing it could cost her job which are scarce in Croatia. (For those of you who do not know she is a Doctor of Epidimiology. And with her job she is also the health inspector...which is where a lot of her job problems occur when it comes to the factories polluting the water, etc. and what kind of illnesses things may or may not cause.)

Thanks again for all your prayers.

Debbie for David
