Sister City Adoption
Hello Folks, Wow, I have been through the gamut of emotions as well as experience this past week! Last Monday I had the opportunity to visit with the Honorary Consulate to Croatia who is from Houston and lives in West University Place and the Croatian Ambassador who is from Croatia and lives in Washington D.C. Then I had kidney surgery/procedure (lithotripsy) this Monday and am now home recovering. This is my 4th bout with kidney stones and praying it will be the last. No pictures of me going through this process, nothing good to see there, just to read Romans 5:1-5 and rejoice in being justified by Christ and also rejoice in struggles because of how it develops us! While home recovering, I was told by a friend that there was an article in the Houston Chronicle Newspaper, in the Bellaire/West University/River Oaks section about a sister city adoption between West University and Sisak, Croatia!
